This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give police protection and permission to conduct temple festival with cultural programs at Arulmigu Sri Mariyamman Temple at Kalleripet Village, Arani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District to be held on 21.06.2018 and 22.06.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.In a case of this nature, this Court cannot grant any relief, as it is for the local Police whether to grant permission or not, taking into consideration the law and order situation in the village.
