JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The writ appeal is filed against the order in WP No.7947 of 2021 dated 29.03.2021 of the learned Single Judge.

2. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation has informed the court that the Board of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation LTD (TANGEDCO) has passed an order vide its proceedings dated 19.04.2023, wherein the Board has approved the proposal to give employment assistance under compassionate grounds to the appellant by relaxing the age criteria and therefore, the order of the Court has been complied with by the Department and hence nothing survives for further adjudication in the present appeal. A copy of the said proceedings 2/4

dated 19.04.2023 has also placed before this Court.

3. Learned Senior Counsel for the appellant has also confirmed the issuance of such proceedings by the Board.

4. In view of the above statements made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation as well as learned Senior Counsel for the appellant, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present appeal. Consequently, the writ appeal stands dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
