This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in CC No. 449 of 2024 on the file of the II Additional Special Judge, Special Court for EC and NDPS Act.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police found the accused person with illegal possession of 1 kgs of Methaqualone. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the petitioner is the supplier of the contraband and the seized contraband was
sent to Forensic expert where it was detected that the contraband is Mepherone. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.
5. Considering the fact that the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 23.07.2024 pbl
