Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the fifth respondent in extension of deputation proceedings in Proceedings No.1208/E1/2019 dated 24.06.2020 and to quash the same as illegal, incompetent and without jurisdiction and further, to direct the fourth respondent to repatriate the petitioner in the parent department and to disburse the monetary benefits for the entire period.

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records on the file of the fifth respondent in extension of deputation proceedings in Proceedings No.1208/E1/2019 dated 24.06.2020 and to quash the same as illegal, incompetent and without jurisdiction and further, to direct the fourth respondent to repatriate the petitioner in the parent department and to disburse the monetary benefits for the entire period.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the deputation period from 2020 - 2021 is over and it is further extended from 24.06.2020 to 24.06.2024.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 11.11.2024 (vm) Index :
