ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition that "the petitioner shall stay at Thanjavur Town and shall appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur daily twice at 10.00 a.m., and 5.00 p.m., until further orders" imposed para no.7 (iii) in Crl.O.P.No. 13662 of 2026 dated 21.05.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.

3. Considering the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No. 13662 of 2026 dated 21.05.2026. Accordingly, the condition that "the petitioner shall stay at Thanjavur Town and shall appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur daily twice at 10.00 a.m., and 5.00 p.m., until further orders" is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on every alternate day at 10.00 a.m., and 5.00 p.m., until further orders". The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
