The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) and 307 of IPC in Crime No.296 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Totally, there are six accused involved in this case, in which, the petitioners are arrayed as A5 and A6. The case of the prosecution is that on 07.08.2022 during cultural festival, two groups clashed against each other, in connection with the same, the petitioners along with others attacked the defacto complainant and sustained grievous injuries.. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any such 1/3

offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the injured was still in hospital. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Counsel and also the fact that the injured is still in hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 17.08.2022 Vv 2/3
