By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to process, complete and communicate the outcome of the petitioner's application dated 03.06.2026 in Roll No.20615129 for reevaluation in respect of class XII board Examination answer Scripts, particularly in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and consequently publish and communicate any revised marks awarded pursuant thereto.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that Class 12th Examination results were declared on 13.05.2026 and the petitioner had obtained an aggregate score of 87%. He would further submit that petitioner in the meanwhile applied to several Universities abroad for admission. The names of universities along with admission deadlines is mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, the same is scanned and extracted below:

4. It is the case of the learned counsel for petitioner that majority of the Universities require 90% aggregate marks for the petitioner's application to be considered for admission. He would state that petitioner had taken out an application for re-valuation on 03.06.2026 in respect of Roll No: 20615129, however, the same is pending consideration. Hence this writ petition.

5. Mr.V.Krishan, learned counsel for respondents would submit that reevaluation is a time consuming process and requests four weeks time. However, the learned counsel for petitioner would submit that if four weeks time is taken, then admission may be over by that time and the entire process would become an exercise in futility.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider petitioner's application for re-evaluation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law by 25.06.2026. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation/application and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation/application on its own merits and in accordance with law.
