This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in CC No. 129 of 2024 on the file of the Principal Special Court under EC and NDPS Act.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police found the accused person with illegal possession of 1.9 kgs of Amphetamine. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the

contraband seized from the accused person is commercial quantity. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.

5. Considering the fact that the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. The petitioner can raise all his defence before the Trial Court. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 25.07.2024 pbl
