The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.04.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 & 29(1) of NDPS Act, in crime No.263 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioner along with an other accused person was found in possession 22 Kgs of Ganja illegally. Hence, the case.

3. The petitioner along with another accused person were in possession of 22 Kgs of Ganja. It is a commercial quantity and the petitioner failed to fulfil the twin conditions as contemplated under Section 37 of NDPS Act.
