Respondents Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 herein to select and appoint the petitioner as sewing Teacher based on her employment seniority dated 11.11.1980 pursuant to the notification dated 12.11.2009 made in Tho.Pal/37605/2009 issued by the first respondent with effect from the date on which his immediate Junior in terms of employment seniority got appointed with all consequential attendant service and monetary benefits and pay all the arrears within a short date that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous, as the petitioner reached the age of superannuation. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the writ petition.

2. In view of the submission and the endorsement so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
