This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to investigate the case and file the final report in the Crime No.162 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation was already completed and subsequently the charge sheet was also filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Udumalpet. However, the same has been returned for some defects and that they would re-present the same within a short span of time after rectifying the defects pointed out by the learned Magistrate.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

4. Further, the Magistrate is directed to take the charge sheet on file to be re-presented by the respondent police, if the same is otherwise in order.
