ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus 2/5

directing the respondents herein to deposit the balance amount of Rs.35,56,282/- to the credit of LAOP No.1443/2008 on the file of Sub-Court, Kancheepuram as per the working sheet enclosed along with Government Order (4D No.30 dated 12.08.2024) together with 15% interest till the date of deposit.

3. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that they would deposit the sum of Rs.35,56,282/- together with interest within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

4. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to deposit the balance amount of Rs.35,56,282/- together with interest to the credit of LAOP No.1443/2008 on the file of Sub-Court, Kancheepuram within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of a copy of this order without waiting for receipt of certified copy.
