O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent herein to file a final report in Crime No.264 of 2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner that there was a Petrol Bomb attack, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.264 of 2018 on 21.03.2018 under Section 3 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Explosive Substances Act, 1908 and Section 4 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 against unknown accused. Since the accused is not known as of yet, a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner cannot be issued. However, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, in charge of Singanallur Police Station, is directed to monitor the investigation in crime No.264 of 2018 and take effective steps to nab the accused expeditiously .
