This criminal original petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 04.04.2018 passed by the District and Sessions Judge, Polur in Crl.M.P.No.1238 of 2018 in Crime No.98 of 2018.
2. Today, Mr.S.Ravi, Sub-Inspector of Police, Polur Police Station, Tiruvannamalai District, is present before this Court.
3. The petitioner was arrested in Crime No.98 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 29(1)(a)(ii), 13(1)(b) and 13(2) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, and remanded to custody. He filed Crl.MP.No.753 of 2018, seeking for bail and the District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai District, was pleased to grant bail on 05.03.2018 on certain conditions, one of which, is that the petitioner should report before the respondent police everyday at 10.00 a.m. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.MP.No.1238 of 2018 for relaxation of the said condition on the ground that the investigation has been completed. However, the said petition has been dismissed by the District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai District on 04.04.2018, aggrieved by which, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.
5. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that during hearing of the bail petition in Crl.MP.No.753 of 2018, the police had inadvertently represented that the investigation was completed. He further submitted that the investigation is in progress.
6. However, it is seen that the petitioner has been complying with the condition, by reporting before the respondent police from 07.03.2018 till date. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations, the said condition is relaxed. However, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required.
