ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl. O.P. No.13223 of 2026 dated 20.05.2026 directing the Petitioner to stay at Tindivanam Town and Sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tindivanam daily at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a college student and he has been implicated in this case based on the confession of the co-accused and the said co-accused was released on bail on the condition to appear before the respondent police at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner, being a college student, finds difficult to appear before the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tindivanam daily twice and hence, prayed to modify the condition to appear before the respondent polices.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police has not seriously objected for modification.

4. Considering the submissions made on either sides and the reasons stated in the affidavit by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl. O.P. No.13223 of 2026 dated 20.05.2026. Accordingly, the condition that "the petitioner shall stay at Tindivanam Town and Sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tindivanam daily at 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. until further orders" is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 5.30 p.m. until further orders". The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.

5. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered. 17-06-2026 MJS Note:
