O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been filed challenging the order dated 12.06.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1165 of 2025 by the Principal Special Judge for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Chennai, thereby dismissing the application seeking return of the property.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned an Innova Crysta Car bearing Registration No.TN-07-CZ-1377. The said vehicle was used by the accused for transportation of Ganja weighing 26 kilograms. During a routine check up, the accused was found in possession of the contraband inside the said vehicle. Pursuant to the seizure of the contraband, an FIR was registered in Crime No.1340 of 2024, for the offences under Sections 296(b), 132, 109, 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 8(c) & 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 25(1A) of the Arms Act 1959. The respondent Police seized the contraband along with the vehicle, and confiscation proceedings have now been initiated as against the said vehicle. Therefore, the Trial Court rightly dismissed the petition seeking

return of the vehicle.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order dated 12.06.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1165 of 2025 by the Principal Special Judge for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Chennai.
