Sheik Mohammed v. The Inspector Of Police

2016-09-30Honourable Mr Justice G. Chockalingam1 pages

CRL.O.P.No.22249 of 2016 G.CHOCKALINGAM, J.

The petitioner, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. in Crime No.1161 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on account of previous enmity, the petitioners assaulted the defacto complainant due to which, the victim sustained head injury and the injured is still taking treatment in the hospital.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case.

4.

Considering the fact that the victim sustained head injury in the occurrence and is still taking treatment in the hospital, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
