Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2023 for initiating action against the encroachers, the fourth to sixth respondents herein accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and to remove the encroachment in water bodies inn Nilaviyal Odai bearing Survey Nos.85/1 and 85/2 at Alagramam Village in Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District, expeditiously in accordance with law.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Anburaja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the authorities would measure S.Nos.85/1 and 85/2 and if any encroachment is found, the authorities would take steps in accordance with law.

3. In view of the above statement, no orders are necessary. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
