ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for records and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.10520 of 2010, on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. 2.The petitioner/accused in C.C.No.10520 of 2010 has borrowed a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from the respondent/complainant, and to that effect she has executed a debt deed in twenty rupees stamp paper in the month of July 2009. For security purpose, the petitioner has given a cheque bearing No.156036, dated 26.12.2009, drawn on Syndicate Bank, Sathuvachari Branch, Vellore. Now, the debt deed has been produced by the petitioner enclosed in the typed set of papers at page No.2, to the effect that there is an endorsement that the respondent/complainant has received the debt amount of Rs.5,00,000/- on 27.11.2009, this was also admitted by the learned counsel Mr.P.Anbazhagan, appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel on either side submits that since the matter has already settled between the parties, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no objection to quash the proceedings against the petitioner. Accordingly, C.C.No.10520 of 2010 pending on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, is hereby quashed and hence this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
