Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to measure the property bearing T.S.No.778/1 Ac. 2.10 in Thirupathiripuliyur Cuddalore-2, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District and give a copy of the details to the petitioner. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to have purchased the property admeasuring to an extent of 2.10 acres in T.S.No.778/1 in Thirupathiripuliyur, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District through a registered sale deed dated 28.03.2005 and to be in possession of the said agricultural land and on account of rival claim also filed O.S.No.141 of 2016 in the Court of Principal District Munsif, Cuddalore against nine others praying for declaration of title in respect of the property and also other consequential relief and the suit is pending. The petitioner sought for patta transfer in his name and also paid the necessary fees in this regard on 13.06.2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.D.Baskar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the application/ representation dated 13.06.2016, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the respondents 4 and 5 and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 4 and 5.
