Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct the common counseling for the post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses in Tamil Nadu for the year 2018 on the basis of the above modalities so that the Medical Officers working in Government Service shall be provided 50% of the seats earmarked to the State and the remaining 50% of the seats earmarked to the State can be allowed to the non-service candidates only based on the marks scored in the NEET Examination.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner has filed WP.No.6319 of 2018, touching all the aspects involved in this writ petition and hence, he is not pressing this writ petition. 2.In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. No costs.
