ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to continue the petitioner in service as Associate Professor of Chemistry till the end of the academic year 2016-2017, i.e., upto 31.05.2017 as per G.O.Ms.No.281, Education Department, dated 13.02.1981 and Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.53430/G3/2011 dated 11.12.2014 issued by the Director of Collegiate Education. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel for the first respondent have stated that the petitioner's service has been extended upto 31.05.2017 by the proceedings of the second respondent in Pa.Mu.No.02822/E2/2016 dated 14.07.2016, and they have also produced a copy of the said proceedings.

3.In view of the said proceedings of the second respondent dated 14.07.2016, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and accordingly the writ petition is closed. No costs.
