(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties.
2.The writ petition is basically to seek compliance of the judgment of this Court and a prayer is made to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 17.7.2021.
3. It is a case where the District Munsif Court, Sholingur passed a decree in O.S.No.360 of 195 dated 22.9.2003. But, subsequently, in S.A.No.1419 of 2004, by judgment dated 03.7.2013, a direction was given by this Court to the Tahsildar concerned to take up the matter either by resorting to the petition sent by the sixth respondent herein on 18.7.1989 for registering the name as cultivating tenant or by treating his written statement filed in the said suit as an application, proceed and dispose of the matter within six months therefrom. 4.On the allegation that the compliance of the above judgment of this Court in the said second appeal has not been made, a representation was sent, which led to the filing of this writ petition.
5.The learned Special Government Pleader has produced the original records to show that the Tahsildar concerned took up the matter and decided the same on 31.7.2017 in the presence of the petitioners.
6.In view of the above, we do not find any reason to issue a direction of the nature prayed for.
7.Accordingly, the writ petition is ordered to be closed. Consequently, the connected WMP is also closed. There will be no order as to costs.
