COMMON PRAYER: Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to pass an order of direction to the trial Court to complete the trial C.C.Nos.5334, 5820, 5819 & 5333 of 2021 in Crime Nos.70, 132, 81 & 123 of 2021, on the file of the Learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai within a stipulated period of time.

COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to direct the trial Court to complete the trial C.C.Nos.5334, 5820, 5819 & 5333 of 2021 in Crime Nos.70, 132, 81 & 123 of 2021 respectively, on the file of the Learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai within a stipulated period of time.

2.The grievance of the petitioner in all Criminal Original Petitions is that he has been falsely implicated in all the cases for the purpose of detaining him in prison. He further submitted that keeping the cases pending, the petitioner's detention is further prolonged. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is a regular offender detained under Goondas Act and the respondent Police are producing the witnesses as and when they are available which will not be a reason for any delay. 4.Recording the same, these Criminal Original Petitions are Page No.2 of 4

disposed of and the trial Court is directed to complete the trial preferably within a period of three months.
