The petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 318(2), 336(3), 339 and 344 of BNS, 2023 [Corresponding Sections 417, 468, 474, 477A of IPC] in Crime No.77 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted the investigation in this case has been completed and finding that there is no substance in the allegations and the case has been referred as 'mistake of fact'.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
