Respondent Prayer : The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, seeking for a direction directing the Hon'ble Principal Sub-Judge at Kancheepuram to expedite the disposal of O.P.No.3 of 2022 filed by the Petitioner for divorce under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.

ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition seeks for a direction for expeditious disposal of HMOP.No.3 of 2022 pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge at Kancheepuram.

2.The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife. Pleading that cruelty has been meted out to him by the respondent, he has filed HMOP.No.3 of 2022. The pleadings are complete and the matter has to be listed for evidence.
3.Ms.Yukshitha, learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the matter being part-heard, if an expeditious disposal is given to the proceedings, it will serve the ends of justice. 4.When the matter came up before this Court on 29.02.2024, a report was called for regarding the total pendency of cases before the Principal Subordinate Court at Kancheepuram. Subsequently, the matter was listed before me on 08.08.2024. The report as directed by the Court on 29.02.2024 and the report that was sought for on 08.08.2024 had not yet been received. Therefore, the matter was listed today.
5.The learned Subordinate Judge, Kancheepuram has sent a report Page No 2 of 4
stating that he is holding charge of the Court of the Principal Subordinate Judge at Kancheepuram. He would also point out that there are about 3963 cases pending on the file of the Subordinate Court at Kancheepuram and at the maximum he is able to deal with 100 cases per day. 6.Taking into consideration the report of the learned Judge, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Kancheepuram is granted 10 months time to dispose of HMOP.No.3 of 2022.
