Nos. 553/A, 556, 568, 577/B, 579, 581/A, 582, 596, 597, 600/B, 628 and 634/C of Thattaravalasu Village situated within the Erasinampalayam Village Panchayat and at Sy.Nos.721, 722, 723, 731, 739, 741, 758, 759 and 761 of Mulanur Village within the Mulanur Town Panchayat as per G.O. (Ms) No.101, Water Resources (R2) Department, dated 30.09.2024 within a period that may be stipulated by this Court. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 04.04.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of No Objection Certificate to erect 33kv electric poles and transmission lines in the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.A.Ilaya Perumal, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is involved in setting up renewable energy project at Tiruppur District in Tamil Nadu. Necessary permission has already been granted by the concerned authorities. The petitioner submitted an application seeking for permission/no objection in order to erect electric police/transmission lines. Since the same is kept pending, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4

case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner and to take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
