ORDER

The petitioners apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 351(3) and 506(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, in Crime No.Not known of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seek anticipatory bail.

A reading of the FIR reveals that allegations have been made attracting the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Since there is prima facie material attracting the provisions of the SC/ST Act, the bar under Section 18 of the Act operates against the maintainability of an application for anticipatory bail. 3.
