This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in crime No. 164 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police found the accused persons with possession of 32 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and also the alleged contraband seized from him is intermediate quantity. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that two accused are still absconding and also the petitioner sent Rs.50,000/- to the co-accused through Google Pay for purchasing the contraband. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.
5. Considering the fact that total contraband seized from the accused persons is commercial quantity and also co-accused are still absconding. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
