O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary action based on petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2019 to sanction and to disburse the family pension and other benefits due to the death of petitioner's husband Kulandaivel, son of Ekambaram (Penion Payment Order No.R2115152) forthwith.

2.Heard the arguments advanced on either side. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband worked as Forest Guard and he retired from service on 01.07.2014 and he was receiving monthly pension. Whileso, the petitioner's husband died on 31.01.2019 leaving behind his wife/ petitioner and daughter as his legal heirs. Hence, the petitioner approached the third respondent and requested for family pension and since there was no response, she made a representation dated 21.06.2019 to the respondents through registered post, however, the same has not yet been considered. Hence this petition.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2019 and to pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time frame. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
