This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.349 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that pursuant to the investigation made by the 1st respondent in Crime No.349 of 2016, a Final Report has been filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate - I, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Land Grabbing Cases, Chennai and the same has been taken cognizance by the learned Magistrate in C.C.No.1 of 2023. 3.In view of the above submission, nothing further survives for adjudication in this petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, if he is advised to do so.
