Heard both sides.

2.It is seen that the petitioners are facing prosecution in C.C. No.3736 of 2016 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai, for an offence under Section 304 IPC. By this Criminal Original Petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the Trial Court to complete the trial in the said case, expeditiously. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners will cooperate in the conduct of the trial by engaging a counsel and cross-examining the witnesses on the day they are examined-in-chief.

4.Recording the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C. No.3736 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the petitioners cooperate as undertaken by them.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
