Respondents Prayer : This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, seeking to direct the first and second respondents to transfer the case in Crime No.07 of 2016 on the file of the fourth respondent police to the third respondent to carry out the investigation and file a final report within the period stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to direct the first and second respondents to transfer the case in Crime No.07 of 2016 on the file of the fourth respondent police to the third respondent to carry out the investigation and file a final report.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the final report has been filed on 03.11.2016 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Udumalpet.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infractuous.
