ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant the benefits to be paid for the post of Selection Grade Senior Assistant Engineer to the petitioner and revise the petitioner's basic pay as per the Government Order in G.O.[Ms.] No.63, Transport [D] Department dated 05.02.2010 and revise the pension accordingly from November 2022 and pay the consequential service benefits with 6% to the petitioner herein by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2023.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the petitioner has been promoted as Selection Grade Assistant Engineer with effect from 31.05.2015 and his designation has been changed, but no monetary effect was given. In this regard the petitioner has given a representation dated 04.07.2023, but the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, seeks a direction to the respondent to revise his scale of pay.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Orders on the same within a period of two months.

4. Considering the limited relief sought in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2023 and pass Orders on the same on merits within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
