This petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Crime No.167 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police. 2.It is the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is falsely implicated as accused in Cr.No.167 of 2023 for the offences under Section 4 (1) (i), 4 (1) (aaa) r/w 4 (1-A) of TNP Act. He is in judicial custody from 02.06.2023. Thus, this petition is filed for seeking bail. 3.In response, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that petitioner was found in illegal possession of 110 litres of ID arrack on 02.06.2023, at about 15.30 hours near Navakodi Sidhar Temple. The liquor was seized. Petitioner has seven similar previous cases. 4.Considered the rival submissions and perused the records. 5.In the circumstances stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that petitioner was involved in seven previous cases and five 1/3

cases are still pending, and that investigation in this case is not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 01.08.2023 ep 2/3
