Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents more particularly the second respondent to survey and to issue individual patta to the petitioner's land measuring an extent of 1592 square feet vacant house site bearing Plot 1/5

No.6, Amirtham Nagar, comprised in Old Survey No.88/1B, New Survey No.119/2 of Noombal Village, Saidapet Taluk, Thiruvallur District, the application dated 02.11.2021 as per the (Tamil Nadu) Surveys and Boundaries Act, 1923.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to survey and issue individual patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the vacant plot in Plot No.6, Amirtham Nagar, comprised in Old Survey No.88/1B New Survey NO.119/2 of Noombal Village, Saidapet Taluk, Thiruvallur District, based on the application filed by the petitioner dated 02.11.2021.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he submitted an application for survey of the land and issuance of separate patta on 02.11.2021 and the same has not been considered till date.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes 2/5

notice for the respondents 1 to 3 on written instructions submitted that already date fixed for survey of the land on 13.08.2024. The said statement is recorded.

4. In view of the fact that already the second respondent fixed date for survey of the land, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to complete the survey and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
