ORDER

The petitioners have come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to provide a pathway in TS Nos.31/7B and 31/4B2 on the western side of the acquired lands to reach Namakkal Senthamangalam State Highway from their lands in T.S.No.31/4A1 in Namakkal Town and District, based on their representation dated 27.04.2010.

2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the petitioners may be given liberty to approach the respondents with a fresh representation seeking the relief as claimed in this writ petition, for which, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent has no serious objection.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court disposes of this writ petition, granting liberty to the petitioners to approach the respondents with a fresh representation along with the required documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such approach, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
