Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, calling for the records relating to the order of detention BDFGISSV/NO.4/2016 dated 06/01/2016 passed by the 2nd respondent and to quash the same and also to direct the detenue SIVA AGE 39 YEARS S/O.SUBBAIAH who is presently detained in the Central Prision CHENNAI to be produced before this Hon`ble court and set at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu Siva son of Subbaiah, aged about 39 years, has come forward with this petition, challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 06.01.2016 against her husband branding him as a "Bootlegger" as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 06.01.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.892, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department, dated 29.02.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
