ORDER
Since the petitioner is suspected for stealing 3 sovereign of gold jewel from the 3rd respondent, the police has registered C.S.R.No.488 of 1/4
2024 on 26.06.2024 against this petitioner based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent. The petitioner herein claims that the police is harassing him to redeem the jewel pledged with the pawn broker at Ayanavaram. Whereas, the petitioner is innocent and not connected with the alleged theft.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that investigation has to be conducted on the information given by this petitioner and proper action will be taken based on the material collected during the course of investigation. 3.
Since the matter is need to be investigated and the cooperation of the petitioner is required, this Court disposing of this Criminal Original Petition directing the police to conduct the investigation in the manner known to law and proceed against the person if the complaint given by the 3rd respondent is found to be true. 22.07.2024 Index : Yes/No rpl 2/4
