ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the Petitioner by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, the Special Court for SC/ST (PoA) Act, Perambalur District in Crl.M.P.No.36 of 2026. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/accused in Crime No.74 of 2026, registered for the offences under Sections 105(II) and 296(b) of the BNS and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), and 3(2) (v) of the SC/ST (PoA) Act, filed a bail application in Crl.M.P.No.24 of 2026. The learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Special Court for SC/ST (PoA) Act, Perambalur District, by order dated 01.04.2026, granted bail to the petitioner subject to certain conditions, one of which was that the petitioner should stay at Madurai and appear before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madurai Town, daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.

3.Thereafter, the petitioner filed a modification petition in Crl.M.P.No.32 of 2026. By order dated 21.04.2026, the learned Sessions Judge modified the condition and directed the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Perambalur, daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.

3/6 4.Subsequently, the petitioner filed another modification petition in Crl.M.P.No.36 of 2026. By order dated 21.05.2026, the learned Sessions Judge further modified the condition and directed the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Perambalur, once a week at 10.00 a.m. on every Thursday until further orders. Aggrieved by the said condition, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an agriculturist and is also suffering from certain health ailments. His health has deteriorated, and he requires regular medical care and hospital visits. Therefore, he is facing difficulty in complying with the condition. Hence, he seeks relaxation of the said condition.

6.The learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition diligently.

7.Considering the fact that petitioner's health condition and the submission made by the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions diligently, the condition

4/6 imposed on the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Perambalur, is totally relaxed.
