This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 98 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the Judgment dated 23.01.2023 in Spl.S.C.No.76 of 2020 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chennai.
2. Mr.S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent did not raise any serious objection in allowing this petition.
3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
