O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and initiate action on the representation dated 16.07.2020 given by the petitioner for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the petition mentioned properties.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondent had wrongly issued patta in the name of one Lakshmiammal and that he has given an application seeking for issuance of fresh patta.

3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent had already rejected the petitioner's application by order dated 25.07.2020 and the petitioner's remedy is only to file an appeal as against the rejection of the application.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, I do not find any reason to keep the Writ Petition pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the respondent in accordance with law. No costs.
