This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.108 of 2014 dated 20.07.2014 on the file of the respondent-police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.108 of 2014 has been completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur on 15.09.2016 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 323, 326 and 506 (ii) IPC.
