This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred, seeking to call for the records in Crime No.46 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent and to quash the same.

There is no representation for the petitioners. 3.

On perusal of the FIR, it is seen that the 1st petitioner's daughter and the 2nd respondent have given complaints in respect of the offence which was said to have occurred on 26.01.2021. It is a case in counter and two FIRs have been registered on the complaint given by two opposite parties, with regard to the same occurrence. Hence, the 1st respondent police has to follow the standing guidelines given in the Police Standing Order 566(2) and investigate both the cases simultaneously and file a report by finding out who is the aggressor.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
