ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2024.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, a representation was filed by the petitioner requesting the respondents to take action against the respondents 5 to 13 and thereby vacate them from the subject matter of building situated in S. No. 354-1B and also in a portion of S.No. 3541A, Kadai theru, Dharmakulam, Kaveripoompattinam Village,(earlier No. 81) Kezhaiyur Village), Sirkazhi talk, Mayiladuthruai District, so as to enable the Village Panchayat to demolish the existing building and proceed with the construction of a new commercial complex. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the 1st respondent within a period of 12 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2024 and after issuing due notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
