Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to survey and sub divide the properties in S.No.149/2B (Old S.No.149/2) to an extent of 1080 sq.mt at Nelliankulam Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District based on the petitioner representation dated 11.01.2024 by appreciating the above stated facts.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to survey and sub divide the properties in S.No.149/2B (old S.No.149/2) to an extent of 1080 sq.mt, in Nelliankulam Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai Distirct, by considering his representation dated 11.01.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, he submitted an application for surveying the above mentioned land and he also paid necessary charges for survey the land. However, the respondents 4 & 5 have not taken any steps to survey the land.

3. It is seen from the e-challan issued to the petitioner dated 22.11.2023, the petitioner paid necessary charges for surveying the land in Survey No.149/2B (Old S.No.149/2). The petitioner also submitted a representation to the respondents on 11.01.2024 mentioning the delay for surveying the property due to some reason. The said representation of the petitioner has not been considered by the respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.S.J.Mohammed Sathik, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents would submit that the request of the petitioner for surveying the property on the basis of his representation dated 11.01.2024 will be considered on merits.

5. In view of the same, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2024 for survey of the above mentioned property and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
