This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent to conduct survey and fix boundary stones to the properties in S.F. No.137/1B admeasuring to an extent of 7791 sq.ft. situated at Pannimadai Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District by considering petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the entire materials available on record.
3. It is the case of the writ petitioner that he purchased an extent of 7791 sq.ft. in S.F. No.137/1B situated at Pannimadai Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District from one Kavi Chakravarthi by way of a registered sale deed dated 31.08.2012. Ever since the date of purchase, the petitioner is in Page 2/5
possession and he is the title owner. While so, the petitioner has executed three settlement deeds in favour of his wife, daughter and son respectively and the same were returned by them by way of another settlement deed bearing document No.4966 of 2019. For surveying his property he has made an on-line application on 03.06.2024 vide application No.2024/0123/001946 and till date the same has not been given effect to.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application for survey and boundary stones for the land situated in S.F. No.137/1B situated at Pannimadai Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners or any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
