ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN ,J] The petitioner is the wife of one Ramamurthy. According to the petitioner, her husband was in unsound mind and he was taking treatment. He has been found missing from 15.06.2012. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent police. The respondent

police registered the complaint in Cr.No.134 of 2012 on 31.01.2012. Despite the same, the respondent police has not taken any steps to secure the detenu so far. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police are conducting investigation and are taking steps to trace the detenu.

3. In the above circumstances, we direct the respondent police to proceed with the investigation and take expeditious steps to trace the detenu.

4. With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
