There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the respondent either in person or through their counsel.
2. In this case, the petitioner has challenged the license issued to the second respondent on 01.01.2022 pursuant to a auction held by the first respondent under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in shop and bars) Rule, 2003.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was also given a license to run a bar for which the petitioner put up a pucka construction, whereas, the first respondent has given the license to the second respondent for running a bar without any construction work. It is noticed that the license itself is for a period of 12 months. The license was issued on 01.01.2022. The said license period would have got expired. Thus, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 2/5
