ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of a Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2025.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as B.T.Assistant (Science) through TRB recruitment on 04.03.2006 and was promoted as Middle School Headmaster on 18.06.2014. According to the petitioner, he is senior to the 5th respondent in the TRB seniority list. However, while preparing the seniority list, he was wrongly placed below the 5th respondent. The petitioner further contends that despite being senior, the 5th respondent was granted higher pay and promotional benefits, resulting in a pay anomaly. Though the petitioner submitted several representations from 2019 onwards seeking rectification of the seniority position and pay anomaly, the same have not been considered by the respondents. Aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of his representation dated 20.07.2025 and rectify the seniority and pay anomaly in accordance with law.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
